For the time being, this page is under development. Or maybe that is simply a parallel. Maybe it’s all my little secret; something to finally keep to myself.
I still consider cello the love of my life. Writing will always come second to her. The rest of the story, well, you’ve been here for the past year. It’s been strange and we all know that I ended up right where I started. Who knew…
As words of self-preservation and description find me, I will elaborate more. For now, I am home in Portland, Oregon once again. This is a bizarre story. If you are new to the site, I wouldn’t even know how to start the story in briefest of prose other than to say go back and start from the beginning.
Sincerely,
Mary E. Burger
Have you lived in FL before? How long have you lived in OR? I just moved back to Orlando after living in Corvallis. Definitely a dramatic shift in social climates and scenery. Probably just what you need to get the desired feeling of your ending (for the book your writing that is, and possibly an old life as well.)
Mary,
Amazing service tonight, and an amazing page for an amazing woman. I’m the guy who exchanged blog info with you tonight. The cpb page is my public page, but feel free to peruse my “real” blog (Cmajor7.wordpress.com) which is on hiatus now so I can finish my book but may someday start up again.
P.S. Congratulations on your sobriety. I teach math and run the school for a clinic for kids who are in rehab, and I’m in awe of people who choose to walk your path.
P.P.S. The sombrero was fine, but the flower behind the ear was distracting as hell.

Wow! Thanks so much for the comments on my blog! Now that I know you’re here, I’ll be stopping by more often.
Your blog is lovely too! And I’m quite jealous that you’re originally from Portland. My goal is to move there for grad school.
Thanks again!
My goal is to move home…you will notice as you read that I am suffering from severe Oregon withdrawals. I miss her so…
Thanks,
MEB
I would miss her too
Ps. LOVE the new blog header!
Thank you!
I like your new layout, too, and the picture that was briefly up (yesterday, I think it was?).
PS – Hey, Kimberly! Fun to see we have a mutual friend!
haha yes it is!
Thank you, friend! I am still revamping a bit. I am on the fence as to which photo I prefer…I may very well change it everyday for a bit.
